Cyberhawk Innovations, the world leader in aerial inspection and survey using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), is taking part in a live drone demo showcase during this year’s CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. The showcase will highlight the diverse commercial applications of drones, providing attendees with a unique insight to UAV technology, its potential and how it fits into the supply chain.
CeBIT, which takes place from 20-24 March, is the largest and most internationally represented computer expo in the world. Attended by hundreds of thousands of people each year, it is considered a barometer of current trends and a measure of innovation in information technology.
Cyberhawk will be providing UAV inspection data from projects completed for major energy companies around the globe. The data includes videos, 3D models and high resolution photos of high and dangerous to reach industrial assets, such as wind turbines, powerlines and offshore oil and gas rigs.
Importantly, Cyberhawk will also highlight how data captured by UAVs is subjected to engineering analysis, and converted into tangible engineering information which can be used to make quicker, more effective asset management decisions.
The drone park will offer visitors a rare experience to see live drone flights and inspections in action, so they can grasp the revolutionary technology and its diverse applications. A key part of the showcase is to highlight the new business opportunities and potential arising from the use of UAVs, with Cyberhawk being a leading example of the commerical use of this technology.
